Inspired by Michael Pollan’s book Cooked, we decided to host a party and serve whole hog barbecue to celebrate the some of the important things in life: community, friends and family.
Ironically, we feel environment is also a pretty important thing, and reasonable meat consumption is a big part of being environmentally aware. We get the pig from Shani’s farm, where the animals are raised naturally and locally!

Cathy, for being patient, supportive, and letting us use the backyard. Jenn, for continually making the best pasta salad ever, despite the costs.
